Storm Watching Getaway
Join us at the Big Fish Lodge in Port Renfrew, British Columbia. At just over 90 minutes from Victoria, you will be witnessing some of the most intense storms on Vancouver Island. In the winter months Port Renfrew averages 15 storms a month. There is no better view of the fury of the Pacific, than right on the sandy beach in front of the Big Fish Lodge.
You will be staying right on the oceanfront at the Big Fish Lodge, with some of the most spectacular views in the region. From the moment you wake up, you will be treated to the beauty of the Wild West Coast. This all-inclusive package includes a hot gourmet made to order breakfast, a hot fresh soup and sandwich for lunch if you are in the lodge or a box lunch if you are going exploring. For dinner you will experience the culinary prowess of Chef Rob Stewart as he takes you on a tour of the West Coast’s finest cuisine. Our local guides will take you to the fiercest storm watching locations.
Whether it is a romantic getaway, corporate retreat, a group of friends or family trying to beat the winter blues, the Big Fish Lodge will impress even the most discerning visitor.

- Guided Storm Watching Tour through Botanical Beach and other local Storm Watching locations.
- Three course West Coast dinner on the night of arrival, and the following night
